Larches Sport & Education Centre

We have been working with LSEC since they their conception and formed a good relationship. Our pupils are provided with individualised weekly timetables and we get weekly reports on the sessions they have completed. Attendance is monitored and reported to us on a daily basis and any absences are chased up. Our pupils get a varied curriculum incorporating English and Maths as well as learning new skills like barbering, boxing and cooking amongst other skills.

Our pupils thrive with hands on learning experiences and they are at their best when they are encouraged to build solid and positive relationships with adults that they trust. The pupils that we have referred to LSEC have the opportunity to train, not only in boxing, but also photography, barbering and cookery. Qualified teachers ensure that pupils are continuing with Maths and English, in sessions which are appropriate and engaging. I have the upmost confidence in the LSEC team in terms of working together to promote the best outcomes for our pupils.’

LSEC have been invaluable to engage disaffected students and I would highly recommend them as an alternative provision option.  Staff provide an engaging and varied environment for young people and they ensure their needs are understood and met.  Students are closely monitored and safeguarding procedures are appropriately followed.  They maintain excellent communication with school and respond incredibly quickly to any queries.
