About LSEC

Larches Sports and Education Centre (LSEC) is a high-quality, structured alternative provision created by Larches & Savick Amateur Boxing Club to support young people who may not be fully motivated or thriving in mainstream education.

We deliver a unique blend of sports, vocational learning, academic support, and personal development, built to help learners re-engage, rebuild confidence, and achieve recognised qualifications.

Partner schools choose LSEC because we offer:

  • Outstanding attendance engagement

  • Meaningful progress in English and maths

  • A safe, structured, fully accredited learning environment

Who We Work With?

  • Local authorities supporting AP pathways

LSEC is designed for young people who benefit from a more hands-on, motivating and relationship-driven approach to education.

Flexible Session Structure

Each day is divided into two 3-hour sessions:

  • Morning: 9:30am – 12:30pm

  • Afternoon: 12:30pm – 3:30pm

Learners can attend up to 5 sessions per week, typically one per day, agreed collaboratively between:

School â–¸ Parent/Carer â–¸ LSEC

This allows schools to tailor provision to each learner’s needs and timetable.
